Mauser Slide offset to the right
« on: August 02, 2017, 04:18:06 PM »
Hi all,  Can anyone shed some light about the Mauser pistol design, specifically related to the slide is offset to the right side of the gun?  See attached photo.  Thank you.

Its not that it is offset to the right, instead it is that the mechanisms that connect the trigger to the striker and the safety lever are on the left. There are no mechanisms connecting front to back on the right side.

Thank you so much for the reply.  I see your point.

While it looks like it's offset to the right from the shooter's perspective, the barrel is actually centered on the frame.
