pulling trigger on empty chamber
« on: May 18, 2013, 09:53:32 PM »
I have a 1914 and 34; both 32 cal.  Any harm in pulling the trigger to relax the pin spring?
Also, is the Fiocci 73 grain 1000 fps too hot for these guns?  Thanks

No and no. The only way to release the striker/firing pin is on an empty chamber except when firing it, unless you use a snap cap. Any factory loaded ammunition is safe to fire as long as the pistol is safe to fire. Regards,
