My Mauser HSC Eagle F with 2 matching magazines

Here is my Mauser HSC Police Eagle F serial 948294.  It came in brown Eagle B holster with two serialized matching magazines.

Looks like a very nice eagle F HSC. I own one that's less than 200 numbers away from yours. Although it's not quite as nice.

Yes, I do.  Got it off of Legacy's website four years ago in March.

Alan did you note the magazines from Legacy's site from fours ago.  Can you tell me when approximately in 1945 this gun was made?

My notes indicate the Matched Magazines were with it at that time.  Your HSc was made in March 1945.  Normally, I would say it never left the factory before the war ended in May.  However, the fact that the Magazines were serialized by a Police unit (that's where they were done and not at the factory) would indicate that this pistol made it out to the field.

Just curious, have any other Eagle/Fs been recorded with numbered magazines?

No Burgess ... that is the only Eagle/F with matched Magazines in the database.
